Applications are invited for a Research Fellow in the field of solar power, working within the Organic Semiconductor Centre at the University of St Andrews.  

Post 1:  Research Fellow in polymer photonics for solar biofuels  

The position is part of a collaborative project with the biotechnology company Xanthella, which aims to develop solar light collection technology for photobioreactors.  

The successful candidate will work on photophysics, nanophotonis and the optical design of the light collection component. Working with partners at Xanthella, this component will be integrated into their photobioreactors.  

The position will be for one year.
