An 18-month Research Fellowship is available within the Foundations of Logical Consequence project in the Arché Philosophical Research Centre for Logic, Language, Metaphysics and Epistemology from 1 January 2011 to 30 June 2012. You will conduct research within the scope of the AHRC-funded research project Foundations of Logical Consequence.
You must be on track to receive a PhD by the time of appointment and must be capable of demonstrating outstanding research potential in the areas of the project. A track record of high quality publications will be an advantage. Please include with your application a research proposal (1000 word max.), and a recent writing sample (10000 words max.).
You will be expected to contribute up to 30 hours teaching per annum for the Department of Philosophy. You will also be required to undertake such administrative duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator and the Director of Arché.
