Applications are invited for a Research Fellowship on an ONR-funded project investigating the effects of startle sounds on cetaceans within the School of Biology based at the Sea Mammal Research Unit in the Scottish Oceans Institute. The post is available from September 2018 for 12-18 months.
You should have a relevant first degree and PhD in biological science or biologging together with competence in coding in Matlab and analyzing acoustic signals. You should be able to work independently or in a team. Skills in DTAG analysis and statistical modelling are desirable.
