Research Fellow (Galaxy Dynamics) – AR2464DD
The Astronomy Group at
the University of St Andrews (Scotland, UK) is seeking an ambitious
postdoctoral researcher to work on Galaxy Dynamics with Dr Hongsheng Zhao to
start May 2021. The project will include modelling the dynamics of the
post-Gaia DRIII Milky Way and constraining the Modified Gravity and Missing
Matter.
The candidate is
expected to have a PhD in astronomy with relevant experience in the field of
stellar dynamics, especially Local Group and Gaia data. The position will
involve collaboration with researchers in Bonn and Strasbourg. The position
includes funding for travel.
