Associate Lecturer (Eduation Focused) in French – AOAC1129MXJM
The School of Modern
Languages is seeking to appoint a fixed-term Associate Lecturer (Education Focused) in French.
This is a fixed-term post that will start on 1 September 2021 and end on 10
June 2022 and is to provide full-time maternity cover. Applications are invited
from candidates with a specialist interest in any area of circa eighteenth-century/Enlightenment
French or Francophone literature and / or culture. You will be expected to hold
a PhD, possess native or near-native language skills in French and English, and
be able to teach more broadly at sub-honours level in the seventeenth-eighteenth
century period. The ability to contribute to the programme in Comparative
Literature is not essential but would be an advantage.
