Research Fellow in Organometallic Optoelectronics - AR1992SB

Phosphorescent organometallic complexes are important materials for next generation solid-state lighting, combining tuneable optical properties with simple fabrication.  The Organic Semiconductor Centre is internationally recognised for its research in this domain with activities on solar cell and light-emitting materials.  The aim of this post is to develop new deep blue-emitting materials for solid-state lighting devices.  The candidate will be responsible for synthesizing and characterizing organometallic complexes as candidate luminophores for OLEDs and related solid-state lighting devices.

The post will be for one year, starting as soon as possible.

Informal enquiries can be made to Eli Zysman-Colman, email: ezc@st-andrews.ac.uk.
