Applications are invited for the role of School Manager within the Graduate School for Interdisciplinary Studies.  

The Graduate School works in collaboration with academic schools across the University to deliver innovative, interdisciplinary postgraduate programmes.  The School Manager is part of the core Graduate School team, and plays a key role in the management and development of efficient administrative structures, systems and processes to support interdisciplinary teaching, learning and assessment. The School Manager works closely with Graduate School staff and colleagues from across the wider University, as well as students on the different programmes.   

The successful candidate must have experience of working in a higher education or further education administrative role, and be able to work in a busy environment, both as part of a team and independently.   They will be adept at writing and interpreting policies and reports, as well as handling and processing data. As the Graduate School works collaboratively with academic schools and units the successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and a flexible, positive, collegiate approach.
