Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position in igneous geochemistry to work within the Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences at the University of St. Andrews as part of the consortium “SoS RARE” (https://www.bgs.ac.uk/sosRare/home.html) to work on Nd and HREE sources and mobility in peralkaline igneous rocks.

You must have a PhD in Earth Sciences or related fields. Experience of Arctic fieldwork, clean laboratory practice and experience of diffraction, EPMA and, particularly, isotope geochemistry are desirable. You must be focused and ambitious, with initiative and a strong ability to work independently.

The post is full-time, fixed-term for 36 months, starting 1st May 2016 or as soon as possible thereafter.
