The University of St Andrews is looking to appoint a web developer to join the digital communications team within Corporate Communications. The digital team is responsible for leading the institution’s digital strategy and managing the University’s digital assets.
 
This is an exciting time to join the team, as we are currently working to radically redefine our institutional approach to content and design.
 
The Web Developer will play a vital role in making this vision a reality – working with internal customers and web editors to develop user-centred information architectures, interfaces and web applications and implementing brand, content and design policies.
 
The ideal candidate will have a strong customer focus and enjoy helping others solve their web related problems. They will have the necessary technical knowledge and skills to provide day-to-day management and support of the University's web services and to assist other members of the digital communications team on an ongoing basis. The Web Developer will also provide advice and support to internal customers on communicating and managing information via the web.
 
This post is fixed term for 3 years starting as soon as possible.
