Details
The School of Physics and Astronomy advertises a one year Research Assistant position in experimental photonics dedicated to the design, fabrication and all optical manipulation of flexible nanoplasmonic membranes. The applicant should have research experience in nanolithographic processes and optical trapping, supported by a good publication record. Theoretical and experimental knowledge of plasmonics, metamaterials and nonlinear optics for biophotonics applications is desirable.
