Within the Catering Services department, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a reliable hard working individual who wishes to develop food production and customer service skills.

As well as hands on food production, the successful applicant will undertake a range of duties, including setting up food service counters and cabinets, dishwashing, laying and clearing tables, serving meals at the counter and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in food service and dining areas.

Good people skills are essential as is the ability to engage proactively with customers and to have a positive can do attitude.

You must ensure compliance with all aspects of health and safety and food hygiene standards and adherence to the relevant legislation, as well as the University’s codes of practice.

The contract is for 30 hours per week for 52 weeks, working 5 days over 7. 

This post is to cover maternity leave so will be effective from 28 March 2016 until April 2017.
