Details
We seek a Research Assistant for a Digital Health Institute (DHI) funded project. The post is part time for 6 months at 10 hours per week.

The project aims to create a remote pulse oximeter, measuring patient’s heart rate and blood oxygenation level at a distance using camera-based technologies.

The Research Assistant will have an excellent computational background with proven experience in completing projects on time. Experience in programming in C++ or C# is crucial as the Microsoft Kinect official SDK will be used in the project. Knowledge of light-tissue interactions would be helpful, and experience in programming with the Microsoft Kinect would be very advantageous. It is also important that the applicant has a high level of enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
