Details
The Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at St Andrews is seeking a laboratory assistant for up to 1 year, to help with processing and analysing samples.  The position is available from 1 August 2015, or as soon as possible thereafter. A bachelor’s degree in a natural science is required, as well as some general laboratory experience.  Main responsibilities include preparation, cleaning, and purification of geological samples for isotope geochemical analysis, as well as general lab maintenance.
