This appointment is an opportunity for a person interested in teaching Biology at tertiary level to be employed to make a major input to our teaching programme.

The successful candidate will support the Director of Teaching and the module organisers through overseeing, co-ordinating and administering demonstrator provision, assessment and support for all practical classes. You will also support and further the understanding of principles being taught in lectures and develop the applied skills of our undergraduates through practical classes.

You will have at minimum a good honours degree in Biology, or one of the life sciences, and proven ability to work in an administrative role as well as experience of supporting life sciences practicals. You will be comfortable both managing a team as well as in functioning as a team member, and will be able to demonstrate experience of engaging confidently with students. This is a standard, semester-time only appointment (30 weeks a year).
