Details
This post is available from 5 September 2016 and is fixed-term until 4 September 2018. The successful candidate will be required to teach Ancient History and Archaeology at sub-Honours, Honours and postgraduate level to students from a wide range of backgrounds. Excellent teaching skills and an interest in promoting knowledge exchange are essential. He or she will be expected to conduct excellent research in any area of ancient history or archaeology, and to contribute actively to enhancing the School’s research environment in a way that strengthens or complements the existing research specialisms of the School. A good Honours degree and a PhD in a relevant field are prerequisites of the post.
