Working in a team at nights, weekends and at other times as required, you will patrol buildings and the wider University estate, working in partnership with other business units to ensure a secure and safe environment for students, staff and visitors to the University. 

You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to demonstrate sound reasoning, empathy, tact and negotiating ability.

Previous experience in a people-centred role is highly desirable, as is the ability to work as part of a team.

A current and valid United Kingdom driving licence and proven IT skills are essential. This is a uniformed role, which will be supplied.
