The University wishes to appoint up to 3 independent Research Fellows in Marine Science as part of the Marine Alliance for Science & Technology (MASTS) pooling initiative of the Scottish Funding Council. The Fellowships which come with start-up funds will be held at the Scottish Oceans Institute (http://soi.st-andrews.ac.uk/) in one of the participating academic Schools of Biology, Geography & Geoscience or Mathematics & Statistics (Centre for Environmental & Ecological Modeling, CREEM).
Applicants should have a First Degree and PhD in a relevant discipline plus an excellent track record of publications in leading journals. The successful candidates will be supported to develop an independent research group although collaborations with existing research teams are also encouraged.
