The Library is seeking to appoint a well-motivated team player to join our Inter-Library Loan (ILL) & Short Loan department within the Collections Team.

The successful candidate will help with the delivery of our ILL service to make sure requests are processed quickly and accurately. Since the implementation of our new ILL system we have seen an increase in workflow, so effective communication and a team-player attitude will be essential to ensure tasks are completed in a timely and effective manner. The role holder will also support the management of the Library’s Short Loan Collection, including its regular review and evaluation.

Typical tasks will include processing stock, entering data onto the Library System, digitizing content, and helping users with their enquiries.

If you are interested in taking on this challenge, you should have a good general education, an excellent eye for detail and an ability to work well on your own as well as part of team.  We need someone who is willing to accept new challenges and adapt accordingly.
