In conjunction with the appointment of Igor Rivin as the new Regius Professor of Mathematics, the University is looking for exceptional candidates for an associated lectureship. We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate outstanding research potential and broad mathematical outlook. Interest in interdisciplinary and experimental approaches to mathematics would be a bonus. The background of the applicants can be in any area of mathematics.

We are proud of our leading under- and post-graduate programmes, and candidates will be expected to help us strengthen and develop them further.

For an exceptionally strongly qualified candidate the appointment may be made at a higher grade.
