Salary: £18,031 - £20,781 per annum,
Start: 8 June 2015 or as soon as possible thereafter
You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration for the MLitt
and PhD/MPhil programmes in Philosophy and will work closely with the
Director of Postgraduates and the Director of the MLitt programmes. You
will support all aspects of postgraduate admissions, MLitt modules,
especially supporting teaching and assessment activity, and postgraduate
research administration such as the annual review process and
arrangements for vivas and final examinations.
You will also
work with the Undergraduate Secretary to provide administrative support
for all operations and activities within the Department of Philosophy.
You
will be educated to at least HNC/HND level with substantial experience
in an office environment. You will have excellent interpersonal skills,
the ability to prioritise a varied workload and a high degree of
computer literacy and a willingness to learn to use in-house databases
and systems. Finally, you will be committed to playing an important
part in our aim to provide our postgraduate students with the highest
quality experience.
