The School of Economics & Finance is part of Scotland's first university, with an established a reputation as one of Europe's leading and most distinctive centres for teaching and research.

The School is research-led, with a focus on outstanding research and teaching in all areas of Economics and Finance, having being ranked joint tenth in outputs at the 2014 Research Excellence framework.

We are now seeking to fill up to three Lectureships (Assistant Professor equivalent) in Economics, with no restriction on the field.

You are expected to have a PhD in Economics, Finance or related fields at the time of appointment, and the clear potential to become an outstanding researcher and teacher.

Salaries are negotiable and commensurate with level and experience.

The posts should be taken up on or before 1 September 2016, or as soon as possible thereafter.
