Details
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated researcher to work as part of a large EPSRC-funded hub focussed on delivering electronic quantum technologies. The researcher will work in the Theory of Quantum Nanotechnology group of Dr Brendon Lovett, and with the group of Dr Jonathan Keeling in the School of Physics and Astronomy.

Candidates should have a PhD in Physics, experience in the theory of open quantum systems, and an excellent knowledge of solid-state physics theory. The post is for a period of five years.

The post is full time and funded through the Hub from 1 October 2014, or as soon as possible thereafter, for a period of five years.

Please note: that the successful applicant will be offered a contract conditional on final approval of funding by EPSRC.

Shortlisting will take place week commencing 4 August 2014 and the interviews will be held at University College, London between 11 – 15 August 2014.
