The Byre Theatre is an arts venue with a theatrical history spanning more than eighty years. Following a recent management agreement between the University of St Andrews, Fife Council and Creative Scotland, we are seeking Box-Office and Promotions Assistants.  

An exciting opportunity to be part of a creative sales team developing the theatre in its next phase has arisen. This is also an invaluable learning experience for anyone wishing to pursue a career in Arts Administration, Journalism, Media, PR and Marketing.  

As a leading artistic and cultural venue, the Byre Theatre expects very high standards from employees. This is particularly important when distributing and advertising information across media. It is essential that you pay exceptional attention to detail and take pride in your work.  

We are seeking two individuals - one to work on a minimum of an eight hour per week contract and one to work on a minimum of a sixteen hours per week contract based on a weekly variable shift pattern. The contracts are available for 2 years in the first instance.
