IT Services is responsible for providing, developing and maintaining the University’s central IT infrastructure and for the delivery of a wide range of technology-based services to both staff and students.  The unit has approximately 65 staff, headed up by the Chief Information Officer and has Associate Chief Information Officers (ACIO’s), leading the Unit’s four sections.

The Unit is seeking an experienced Web Developer to maintain and support Web services, notably where changes need to be made to coding and other infrastructure elements. The role will also involve training existing developers to undertake Web support roles.

You will be an experienced web developer with the technical knowledge and skills to develop information architectures, visual designs and user interfaces for websites and web applications that ensure University information is effectively communicated to all audiences as well as having the inter personal skills to provide advice, support and, where appropriate, training to internal customers on technologies and information structures for communicating and managing information via the web.
