The School of English seeks to appoint a Teaching Fellow in English (Renaissance) to cover a colleague who will be on a Leverhulme Major Research Fellowship from 1 September 2014 until 31 August 2017. The appointee will teach two honours modules per year. In the first instance these modules will be ‘Tragedy in the Age of Shakespeare’ and ‘Shakespeare and Film’. In the second and third years the appointee will be offered the opportunity to design and teach his or her own honours module. The appointee will also contribute to teaching on other modules at honours, prehonours and postgraduate level and will participate in the administrative work of the School. You should have a PhD in a relevant area, substantial teaching experience and some administrative experience.
