An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Supervisor within the Finance Unit for a highly motivated individual with exemplary analytical and financial skills.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure that all payments are processed efficiently, securely and in a timely manner, whilst also ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures. In addition the role holder will be responsible for the integrity of the data held within the Purchase Ledger. As supervisor you will be required to lead, motivate and develop staff in the Accounts Payable team.

Working within a fast-paced environment the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of the P2P process. The role demands a high level of computer literacy, organisational skills and a flexible approach to work. You will be expected to identify and implement process improvement opportunities in a systematic manner.

The successful candidate should have previous experience of managing transactional processing in an accounting environment. Experience working in the HE sector and using Aptos and SITS would be advantageous.
