The Hospitality Services team provides a range of catering and hospitality services including evening and day functions, lunches, events, dinners, weddings and delivered catering/serviced meetings.

An opportunity has arisen for an innovative, motivated and experienced chef manager to work within the team to deliver the highest standards in food preparation, production and presentation. The post holder will be responsible for leading and managing the kitchen and Hospitality Team chefs and will prepare and monitor food to ensure it is prepared and served to the highest standards in all the various locations serviced by the Hospitality team.

You will be creative and inventive, with demonstrable experience in producing and presenting high quality food.  Experience from a 4* hotel or hospitality/fine dining is essential, as is experience of catering in volume.

You must have excellent planning, creative and organisational skills, should be able to work under pressure and to deadlines, and have the ability to work cohesively within a small team to deliver service excellence.Knowledge of HACCP and practical application of Health and Safety in the workplace are essential, as are relevant professional catering qualifications, good kitchen and chef skills, including presentation and attention to detail, and commitment to delivering an excellent customer experience.

Please note – this post is full time, 52 weeks, but will require regular work at weekends and outwith normal office hours.  The start date will be as soon as possible thereafter.
