We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and highly motivated person to join our new Digital Research Division as Research Data Manager.  This is an opportunity to help influence the development of services and systems within this brand new Division of the University Library, which includes support for Open Access, Digital Humanities and Research Data Management.   

As Research Data Manager you will manage the institutional data repository (Pure) including quality assurance of metadata, monitoring funder compliance and data reuse, and importantly, provide leadership on strategies to improving all these aspects.  

You will also develop and deliver advice and training to researchers and research students in full life cycle research data management, including the use of the Digital Curation Centre’s DMPOnline tool, working closely with colleagues in the Library, the Research Office and IT Services.  

This is a unique opportunity to influence the shape the Digital Research support at this world-leading research-intensive University, where the Library is taking a leading role in developing polices and services to maximise the impact of the University’s digital research outputs.
