The School of Economics & Finance is part of Scotland's first university, with an established a reputation as one of Europe's leading and most distinctive centres for teaching and research.

We are now seeking to appoint a Senior Teaching Fellow in Economics. This is a full time continuing appointment. The School is research-led, with a focus on high quality research and teaching in all areas of Economics and Finance.  This is a “general field” post.

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to provide a major input to our teaching programmes, both in teaching and in the development and co-ordination of the programmes.  The post holder will be expected to contribute significantly to a range of teaching within the School, including lecture-based modules and small-group teaching, with a projected commitment of the equivalent of around six-seven modules of contact hours.

This post should be taken up by 1 September 2016, or earlier by mutual agreement.
