Library Attendant (Part Time) - CG1254SB

We are looking for the right person to join our team of Attendants providing support services to the University Library. You must be well motivated to meet the varying requirements of this post which will include porter, security, customer support and other duties.
Good communication and teamwork skills as well as a helpful manner are essential attributes. You must have a basic knowledge of IT. A current and valid driving licence which allows you to drive a vehicle in the UK with a manual gearbox is essential. Previous relevant experience working within a busy customer facing environment will be a distinct advantage as will having worked on a shift pattern.
Uniform will be supplied and worn and you will be required to undertake first aid and general training.
You will work 2 days, 14.5 hours per week on an alternating shift pattern across Saturdays and Sundays providing cover between 7.00am and 02.15am during term time. Shifts worked between 12.15am and 2.15am will be appropriately remunerated.
This position is term time only working 32 weeks per year.
