Details
The University of St Andrews is seeking an inorganic or physical chemist, preferably with experience in the synthesis and characterisation of metal-organic frameworks or related materials. Experience in gas adsorption studies using these materials will also be an advantage. The position is for 12 months in the first instance and is funded through the EU Horizon 2020. The successful candidate will join the research group of Professor Russell Morris. The project will involve close collaboration with groups across Europe to assess the potential applications of these materials in various areas.
 
The successful candidate should have a PhD in chemistry or related subject, ideally with experience of MOF chemistry. Further information can be obtained informally by contacting Professor Russell Morris rem1@st-andrews.ac.uk.
