The University Library wishes to recruit a Digital Archives Officer to work within its Special Collections Division. S/he will develop and implement policies and practice for the management of digital assets across the Division and Library, and will participate in the work of the University’s Virtual Records Management Unit. S/he will develop and deliver systems for collecting, preserving and providing access to both the born-digital and digitised assets of the University and will be responsible for their acquisition, appraisal, description and retention within the University’s muniment collection. S/he will have an archival, records management or digital preservation qualification and will report to the Keeper of Manuscripts and Muniments in the University Library.
