Details
We are seeking to appoint a full-time Computing Officer to work within the Schools of English and Modern Languages to provide cover for a maternity leave. The role-holder will work in close partnership with academics, clerical and technical staff within the University, support the operational activity of the Schools including teaching, research and, in addition, provide more general IT support. Educated to degree level or equivalent in a Science based subject, the successful applicant will have relevant experience of web-site development and maintenance, experience of providing IT support and will be expected to have excellent proven technical knowledge of web design and strong expertise in Microsoft Office applications.
The post is fixed term until 30 January 2016, starting as soon as possible, to provide cover for a maternity leave.
