The BSRC is a large research Centre based over two buildings on the North Haugh area of the University. It is staffed by researchers from four different Schools, Biology, Chemistry, Medicine and Physics and currently has over 250 research active staff, academic, postdoctoral researchers and postgraduate students.
This position is for a full-time Clerical Assistant, Grade 3, to assist with the administrative duties within the Biomedical Sciences Research Complex (BSRC) general office.
The duties of this post will be varied and would suit someone with basic finance experience who enjoys meeting and interacting with people. You should also have good organisational and communication skills (both oral and written), be IT competent, including use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Email and must be able to work as part of a team. Prior knowledge of the HE sector would be an advantage but is not essential.
