Within the Hospitality Services department, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a reliable hard working individual to join our team as a Delivered Catering Supervisor.

The successful candidate for this role will play a key part in raising the bar on the services provided by the Hospitality Department.  The fundamental pillars and abilities that will be essential for the candidate are as follows:

Task and time management

• Ability to multi task various duties simultaneously whilst ensuring the delivery and service of food and beverages to various locations throughout the University is taking place according to schedule

Customer Service and Service Delivery

• Good people skills are essential as is the ability to engage proactively with customers/colleagues and to have a positive can do attitude.

Team effectiveness

• Work effectively without supervision and supervise others to do likewise – including delegating work to drivers and bank team during conference bookings and distributing the delivery jobs across the delivery teams

Health and Safety, Compliance and Quality Assurance

• Compliance with all aspects of health and safety and food hygiene standards and adherence to the relevant legislation, as well as the University’s codes of practice
• A clean driving license is essential and experience within van driving and in particular food deliveries would be an advantage.

The contract is for 36.25 hours per week for 52 weeks, working 5 days over 7 starting as soon as possible.
