There is an opportunity to join the Research Policy Office (RPO) which supports the research and impact activity at the University of St Andrews.
 
This post is open to an experienced or promising individual seeking experience in university research policy: either as a transition within an existing policy career, or as a first step towards a future policy career. You will work in the RPO team, with the Vice Principal for Research, to ensure that our research activities are supported in a manner that befits a world-leading, research-intensive institution. You will ensure that strategically important research policy-related issues are dealt with efficiently and external reporting requirements are expeditiously met. The Research Policy Officer will report to the Director of Research Strategy, Policy and Support and work alongside the Senior Research Information Manager and the Research Impact Officers.
 
The post is full-time and fixed term for one year, with a start date as soon as possible.
