Details
We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Neuroscience to complement the research and teaching in the newly expanded School of Psychology & Neuroscience. We invite applications from candidates with research interests and expertise in any area of neuroscience that fits the research interests of the School. We are especially keen to recruit a colleague who will complement our strengths in developmental neuroscience, the cellular basis of behaviour, motor systems and behavioural neuroscience research.

As an early career appointment, you will already have a PhD degree in neuroscience or a cognate discipline, with some post-doctoral experience. We also welcome applications from candidates already holding a personal research fellowship or a lectureship. Applicants should be able to demonstrate evidence of generating high-quality publications and the potential to develop and manage a competitively-funded research group. Excellent teaching skills and an interest in the dissemination of research are essential.  You should also have some familiarity with grant seeking processes in relation to research councils and other sources.
