The School of English seeks to appoint a Temporary Lecturer in Modernist and Early Twentieth-Century Literature for a 10 month period from 1 September 2016, to cover for a colleague who will be taking up a Leverhulme award. The primary teaching will include delivering the honours module, EN3212, ‘Modernist Literature: Making it New?’; co-ordinating and contributing to the MLitt Modules EN5501, ‘Contextualising the Modern’ and, EN5502, ‘Reading the Modern’; contributing to prehonours teaching (including tutorials); supervising undergraduate dissertations. Candidates should have a PhD in a relevant area, substantial teaching experience and some administrative experience.
