Details
This is a five year half-time post. Applicants should have completed a PhD in English. At undergraduate level the successful applicant will serve as co-ordinator and lecturer on the single semester Honours level module ‘American Fiction: Self and Nation, 1865-1939’ (EN4419); will contribute tutorial teaching to preHonours modules; provide lectures on various modules; and serve as supervisor for a small number of final year dissertations. At postgraduate level, the Teaching Fellow will contribute sessions to a number of the School’s taught MLitt programmes. Other duties will be as specified by the Head of School.
The post is for 5 years only from February 2012 - February 2017 to cover a colleague's temporarily reduced hours. The hours of work will be 18.125 per week.
