This position is available for 12 months within the Intuitions and Philosophical Methodology project in the Arché Philosophical Research Centre for Logic, Language, Metaphysics and Epistemology from 1 September 2011. The appointee will conduct research within the scope of the AHRC-funded research project Intuitions and Philosophical Methodology.  

You must have a PhD by the time of appointment and must be capable of demonstrating outstanding research potential in the areas of the project.  A track record of high quality publications will be an advantage.  Please include with your application a research proposal (1000 word max.), and a recent writing sample (8000 words max.).  

You will be expected to contribute up to 30 hours teaching per annum for the Department of Philosophy. You will also be required to undertake such administrative duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator and the Director of Arché.
