The job will be to develop virtual environments and interfaces that support both the development of and interaction with historic reconstructions that are to be created as part of the Virtual Histories project. The reconstructions will model coastal landscapes, architecture, people and environments based on evidence collected by The SCAPE Trust at eroding archaeological sites. The aim is to bring to life aspects of Scotland’s past, and programming the environments will be an important aspect of this job. The position is part of the Virtual Histories: Connecting Communities Across Space and Time project, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Historic Scotland and AmbITion Scotland. The project is a collaboration between The SCAPE Trust, St Andrews University, and associated visitors centres.  

Fixed term contract for 15 months working 14.5 hours per week.
