You will help devise, co-ordinate and implement marketing efforts across the University’s artistic and community engagement activities, ensuring a dovetailed approach to the communication of these events and resources to internal and external audiences and stakeholders. These activities include performances and exhibitions hosted by The Byre Theatre, the University Music Centre and MUSA (Museum of the University of St Andrews), as well as the University of St Andrews Shop and occasional major events. Although based at and primarily concerned with the marketing of The Byre Theatre, this post will span all of these areas and coordinate efforts across the board, ensuring the efficient, timely marketing of events, performances and special promotions. You will work closely with colleagues in Corporate Communications, the Byre’s Box-Office and Promotions Manager and marketing interns, as well as external agencies.
The role demands a committed, energetic individual with core marketing qualifications and several years experience in the Arts/Theatre/Museums & Exhibitions marketing sector. A high level of communication skills, IT and organisational competency is required.
The post demands a flexible working pattern and unsociable working hours and will run in the first instance until 17 August 2017.
