School of Medicine, Salary: £33,199 - £36,261 per annum, Start Date: As soon as possible, Fixed Term for 12 Months

We are seeking to recruit a post-doctoral Research Fellow in Medical Statistics using electronic medical record (EMR) data to join the dynamic and growing primary care/health data science team led by Professor Frank Sullivan in the School of Medicine. The post is 12 months full-time, and funded by project grant funding from the NHS and charities.  The successful candidate will analyse data delivered from eDRIS to explore child and maternal outcomes following different modes of delivery for singleton breech babies in spontaneous preterm labour.  Analysis of other datasets delivered from a Safe Haven for related projects may also be required.
You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team of clinicians, researchers, and computer scientists.  As a medical statistician, you will have a master’s degree or PhD in a relevant discipline, and bring or be able to develop skills in data management, statistical analysis and reporting.
