Curriculum Officer - AD2038MR
Academic Registry

Academic Registry, Salary: £32,548 - 38,833 per annum, Start Date: As soon as possible

An exciting new post has been developed within the Academic Registry in the University of St Andrews to support key areas of the curriculum lifecycle, with a particular responsibility for the management of curriculum data within our SITS: Vision system.

Registry is a key central administrative Unit of the University supporting Schools, students, senior management and external stakeholders through admissions, the administration of student records, the co-ordination of international partnerships and study abroad, curriculum and timetabling records and the provision of associated reporting.  Members of staff are required to work flexibly and provide support across the Unit according to the priorities of the academic cycle. The Unit actively supports the University’s strategy of improving the effectiveness and integration of administrative processes and services with various projects and cross-unit functions.

We are seeking an experienced, professional, highly motivated and organised colleague, with a commitment to excellent customer service and strong data management skills to shape this new role and to support the curriculum management processes.  You will have experience of working in higher education administration and be comfortable managing complex data sets.  You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to convey complex information to colleagues at all levels, be a real team player and motivator and be enthusiastic about the Unit’s desire to enhance our service to all stakeholders.

You will work closely with colleagues in the Proctor’s Office, Digital and Corporate Communications and Academic Schools, as well as colleagues across Registry, to ensure that we provide an accurate, timely and joined-up service covering all aspects of Curriculum Information Management.
