School of Chemistry, Salary: £32,548 - £38,833 per annum, Start Date: As soon as possible, Fixed Term: 10 months in the first instance

The University of St Andrews is seeking an inorganic or physical chemist, with experience in the synthesis and characterisation of metal-organic frameworks or related materials. Experience in the scale up of synthesis processes will also be an advantage. The position is for 10 months in the first instance and is funded through the EU Horizon 2020. The successful candidate will join the research group of Professor Russell Morris. The project will involve close collaboration with groups across Europe to assess the potential applications of these materials in healthcare related markets.

The successful candidate should have a PhD in chemistry or related subject, ideally with experience of MOF chemistry.
