School of Medicine, Salary: £22,659 - £26,243 per annum, Start Date: 1 February 2019, or as soon as possible thereafter, Fixed Term: 3 years in the first instance

The School of Medicine wishes to appoint a full time Assistant Prosector.  The post is for 3 years in the first instance and starts from spring 2019.  The post holder will predominantly be involved in the preparation, cataloguing and maintenance of anatomical specimens in accordance with the Human Tissue (Scotland) Act 2006.  The post holder will develop their prosecting skills while working within a vibrant and dynamic dissecting room supported by an experienced anatomy team.  The post holder will also conduct some technical and administrative duties associated with the management of an anatomy centre

The role would suit a graduate of human anatomy.
