School of Modern Languages, Salary: £42,149 - £51,799 per annum, Start: 1 January 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter, Fixed term for 12 months

The School of Modern Languages seeks suitably qualified applicants with previous teaching experience, full professional competency in Arabic and English, and expertise in the delivery of classes/lectures in modern standard Arabic and modern/contemporary Arabic culture for a fixed-term (one year) position of Lecturer in Arabic Language and Culture (Education Focused). The successful applicant will deliver language teaching in Arabic at all levels, assess student work and progress and provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the development of the language programme in Arabic. 

Applicants must hold a UK honours degree (or an equivalent international qualification) and a PhD in a relevant subject. Applicants should have teaching experience in a UK or anglophone higher education institution.
