The Centre for Educational
Enhancement and Development (CEED) requires a 0.8FTE Student Developer
(Leadership) to join CEED’s student developer team and report to CEED’s Director. The role holder will lead in providing
leadership development for the Laidlaw Scholar programme. The role holder will have responsibility for design
and delivery of a leadership programme for 50 Laidlaw Scholars each year, as
well as helping to disseminate the scholar’s research, build a sense of
community amongst cohorts of scholars, review and improve the Laidlaw Scholar
programme and encourage the leadership development of potential future
scholars.
Applicants should be
educated to degree level or equivalent, have a proven record of delivering
training and development initiatives and have experience of training,
development and facilitation processes.
They should also be motivated, work well as part of a team and show
initiative.
The hours of work are
8.45 am - 5.00 pm, Monday to Thursday. This is a temporary post, available for two
years.
