Within the Catering Services, Retail department, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a reliable hard working individual who wishes to develop their customer service and food service skills in a fast paced customer focused environment.

As well as some hands on food production, the successful applicant will undertake a range of duties, including setting up food service counters and cabinets, dishwashing, serving customers at the counter, till use, barista coffee machine use and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in food production and serving areas.

Good people skills are essential as is the ability to engage proactively with customers and to have a positive can do attitude.

You must ensure compliance with all aspects of health and safety and food hygiene standards and adherence to the relevant legislation, as well as the University’s codes of practice.

There are two positions available and the contract is for 20 hours per week, 39 weeks of the year, starting as soon as possible.
