IT Services is responsible for providing, developing and maintaining the University’s central IT infrastructure and for the delivery of a wide range of technology-based services to both staff and students.  

Within the Information Assurance and Governance Team, the Web Team is responsible for assisting Service Units and Schools with any web-related matter. The team works closely with software developers and the systems team to manage and deliver a wide variety of web projects. 

The Unit is seeking an experienced Web Developer to maintain and support web services notably where changes need to be made to coding and other infrastructure elements.  

You will be an experienced web developer with the technical knowledge and skills to develop information architectures, visual designs and user interfaces for websites and web applications that ensure University information is effectively communicated to all audiences.  

You will also have the interpersonal skills to provide advice, support and, where appropriate, training to internal customers on technologies and information structures for communicating and managing information via the web.
